Being a blogger is a interesting thing.
Most of the serious bloggers use an alias to spread their message. I imagine that's born from the need to express themselves (or a side) in a way that doesn't expose the non-blogger persona.
I get that... cause I'm one of them.
Then I started to think.
What if we just meshed the two. The blogger and non-blogger. What's the worst that could happen?
People would know your name and not some persona based on a name that's more likened to a comic strip character than a real human. I could imagine one could make the argument that you could have your identity stolen or someone you know might read your twisted words and find out what kind of twisted fuck you really are.
I get that too cause that was part of my reason for using an alias. Not so much the identity theft thing but I could see it. But the figuring out how twisted you are? I'll let you in on a little secret. Everybody knows how sick you are. Just cause you don't show it, doesn't mean they haven't figured it out.
Now I will agree that co-workers should not be allowed to read your blog cause I know many of you are into some real questionable stuff and... well... you shouldn't mix that.
With all that being said, I've decided to shed my mask. From here on, I will publish my real name on my blog and profile.
So with out further ado... my name:

You had to see this coming. Someone might steal my identity.

I know who you are....hee hee hee....can't fool me! (even though its been so long since I've seen/spoken with you I forget what you look/sound like.) Hugs!
Damn, I was just going to run a credit check & public records search on your ass.
I am one of the bloggers living out loud & it is therapeutic. We all have to do what makes us comfortable but blogging on the DL seems like too much to handle or hide especially when you like to talk about various topical issues.
Bygbaby
what and give up my superhero secret identity? oh hellll no! the bad guys might try to get to me through my family and then how could i fight crime :-)
I dont think I blog on the DL, my damned pic is all over the place, but I dont have my real name out there causea identity theft issues. But Ill tell you this, I get a lot of people (mostly women) who think that Im not going to be able to do what I want because Im so open about my life (specifically swinging). Im going to blog about that this week in my Ask-A-Lola-Thon.

Nerd.
Actually I secretly like the name Cranky Putz....its like my chosen name, which is so much better than the one I got to pick for my confirmation....
One friend found the blog and figured out who I am, few others have been told about it, yet I think even if I spread the word like wildfire, I doubt any of my friends would read...illiterate bunch that they are!
Annoymity is good...it adds a lil spice to life...
We're no longer talking anonymity here...this is absurdity!
I mean, seriously, who would pay $39.00 for a t-shirt??!
